TANO TAVOLO
- the everyday Italian table -
In 2022 I spent a lot of time in Italy.
I lived in a home with a beautiful wooden table which formed and transformed day by day as we lived and cooked and ate.
It was a table of life, of love, and of abundant color and flavor thanks to the daily food markets of Milan.
Inspired by these on-going tables, together with photographer Erika Rojas we created this Tano Tavolo photography series.
We combined the best produce from the daily food market with a collection of iconic Italian tablecloths.
The end results are both contemporary and kitsch -- kind of like Milan, right? -- and we are delighted.
In gratefulness for so many good meals shared and so many tables co-created.
